Does Hip Hop affect kids?

After reading this article and watching the videos in class questioning if hip hop affects children I disagree. I do think the violence, sex, and bad words influnence kids, teens, and even adults. But I do not think they can catergorize it as "hip hop" that does this. It is the basics behind it not the title. Although it is mad into a rap played by famous people that everyone looks up to it should not be banned. The media needs to express how to tell everyone about life without causing a scene or influencing kids to wanna go out and "kill", "have sex" or "disrespect women". Music is starting to become the main cause as to why our younger generation is killing and becoming more violent. I disagree we need to teach them how to listen and not act upon... make sure everyone knows it is just a way to express opinions on differnet subjects.
